Self-esteem

You’re coming to therapy to be the best version of yourself. You’ve accomplished so much and want to dream big, to live and love to the fullest. But deep down you fear that you are barely adequate.

In an effort to be “enough” we find ourselves performing, pleasing and perfecting; then shaming ourselves for our shortcomings. We armor ourselves with independence, intelligence and productivity in an attempt to bury and avoid our vulnerability.

Funny thing is, we are protecting ourselves from the very thing we seek: Love, Connection, Authenticity.

We want to be seen but are scared to death of actually being seen.

During the therapeutic process, we will learn how to lay down our armor and embrace our imperfections. We will explore and challenge the painful memories and internal narratives that made you feel like you were not enough.

We will use courage and self-compassion to communicate our needs, enforce our boundaries and deepen the feelings of belonging and connection needed to live an authentic and wholehearted life.

This is where we own our story.

This is where we find our power.

This is where we develop our worth.
